The purpose of the Master in Wine & Beverage Manager, organized by ANPA - National Academy of Hotel’s Professions, with the exclusive partnership of I.M.A.H.R. International Maitres Association Hotel Restaurant and the Associations ADA Lazio, AICR, AIRA and SKAL International, is to train a professional profile able to coordinate and manage the system of planning and management of the winery and the beverage sector, both in restaurant department of hotels or in winebar and wine companies. The professional figure, better defined as Wine & Beverage Manager, will have all the technical skills related to the supervision of supply, quality control, organization and management of the cellar, relations with suppliers and customers, the definition of the gastronomic and wine guidelines of the company. Through targeted educational topics the Master will give a thorough understanding of the wines, of the laws on the label and on the processing equipment. To start the rewarding career of Wine & Beverage Manager, open to young and more senior, Italians and foreigners, is required a high school diploma and/or an university degree (if in lack of experience in the field). Particularly targeted to the profile seems to be Chefs, Sommeliers, Maître Sommeliers or restaurant/bar staff, that have already acquired experience in the Food&Wine field, as in possession of the related culture and technical expertise. The Master is divided into a theoretical / practical full immersion phase of training of 72 hours spread over three months, with the possibility to carry out a subsequent period of internship form 1 to 6 months in a hosted company: we speed up, in this way, the direct contact between the students and the entrepreneurial market through a concrete experimentation in the field of the skills acquired during the training.
